1. Unboxing and Initial Setup
- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials.
- Plug in the printer and press the Power button.
- Select your language on the printer screen if prompted.
2. Installing Ink Cartridges
- Open the front cover to access the cartridge holder.
- Insert the provided ink cartridges (black and color) in the appropriate slots. Push each cartridge in until it clicks.
- Close the front cover and wait for the printer to initialize the ink system.
3. Loading Paper
- Pull out the paper tray at the bottom.
- Load the paper (usually A4 or Letter size) and adjust the paper guides to fit snugly around it.
- Slide the paper tray back in.
4. Connecting the Printer
- Wireless Setup:
- On the printer, go to Settings -> Wi-Fi Setup -> Easy Wireless Connect. Follow the on-screen prompts.
- On your computer or smartphone, download and install the Canon PRINT app or Canon IJ Network Tool for guidance in completing the wireless setup.
- USB Setup:
- Connect the printer directly to your computer with a USB cable (sold separately) if you prefer a wired connection.
5. Installing Drivers and Software
- Visit the Canon Support Page and search for the Canon TS5150 model.
- Download and install the drivers and Canon IJ Scan Utility for scanning.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation, and select your connection type (Wi-Fi or USB).
6. Printing a Test Page
- After setup, print a test page to ensure everything works correctly.
