Here’s a guide to setting up your Canon TS3522 printer:
1. Unboxing and Initial Setup
- Unbox your printer and remove any protective packaging and tape.
- Plug in the printer and press the Power button.
- Choose your language on the printer display if prompted.
2. Installing Ink Cartridges
- Open the front cover to access the cartridge holder.
- Unpack the black and color ink cartridges.
- Insert each cartridge into its respective slot (black and color) and press until it clicks.
- Close the front cover and let the printer initialize.
3. Loading Paper
- Pull up the rear paper support tray.
- Load plain paper (A4 or Letter size) into the tray and adjust the paper guides to fit.
- Ensure the output tray is extended.
4. Connecting the Printer
- Wireless Setup:
- Press and hold the Direct button until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
- Download and install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on your smartphone or computer for setup.
- Follow the app prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- USB Setup (if using a wired connection):
- Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable (sold separately).
- Follow the driver installation prompts to set up the USB connection.
5. Installing Drivers and Software
- Visit the Canon Support Page and search for Canon TS3522.
- Download and install the drivers and Canon IJ Scan Utility.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and select your connection type (Wi-Fi or USB).
